haha! you are so obviously in puberty!!! I sound like an old tarte right now..but all I can say is: wait two more years and it'll all be blown over! :D
and don't say you hate yer parents cuz you should be glad you still have them lad! there are a lot of teenagers your age who are a lot less ortunate! remember that next time!
and even if you think you know better...it is mostly your parents that know....they've been your age too, and over the years they learned what is right for ya... |

lol!!
aahh i so remember this well...and theres no easy way to take it except to bitch and complain...but remembering that they are your parents and no matter what goes on...their always going to have the last say...but its how you deal with it that makes all the difference. remember that if you make their life easier...no matter how demeaning they make you feel...they will make your life easier by letting you leave...lol and i must admit..that punishment that your mother gave you was wrong...and you didnt say something that deserved that kind of punishment...but then again...she did hand that punishment down when she was angry...and people are angry, they dont look to the reprucussions of their actions as if they would if they wernt angry. i think if that does happen again...just take it for a day or two...or however long it takes for her to cool down. then talk to her...dont be mean, dont put her down because thats only going to piss her off. and at 16, and living under their roof, its their rules, no matter what you say, or how you dont like them. you have to make due with what you are given. and some people are given an easy time with their parents...and others, like yourself, have to walk apon eggshells everytime you say something...remember that, and watch what you say, even when you are angry, because even though they or her will hand down ubsene punishments...i still believe that you will have a chance if you at first just take it for what it is...no arguments...then go back a day later and talk it over calmly. this will show your parents that not only can you are growning up, and that you can have a calm serious conversation even though you are mad...but it helps them see that your maturing...even if you want to rip her a new . so in all..just take it for what its worth...only let it bother you when your alone...or talkin with friends...and this will help your relationship...cuz she is treating you like a young child...and that just doesnt happen outta no where...and im not saying you act like one...im just saying that she sees you as one. you have to prove to her that your not...and these kind of things will most likely decrease as time and your proving your maturity continues.:) i hope this helps...and i hope things go alright for you:) lol its not easy being a kid...nor is it easy being a parent...lol i know this... |

| well, bean the TA shrink has the right of it.....You told your mom to "sod off" which is the first mistake you made in my opinion. I learnt my lesson that no matter how mad u get never tell your parents off. That just leads to what u go next..the slap in da head. You're mom should never had come out and say "get up you baby" but then parents do what parents want. You do need to show them you're mature, react in a calm way and they'll do the same. Anger builds upon itself and feeds off it. If you're angry and u say to your mom, she gets angry which gets u more angry..and so on...so next time, just walk away or react calmly. If your mom gets mad that you're walking away, say "I don't want to get into an argument with you...wait till we both calm down" that'll show her that you're mature enough to control your emotions. Thats what parents like to see. |

I find that hard to believe. At 12?? Most guys still think that girls are yucky at that age. Puberty doesn't mean only your voice changing. With parents, you just gotta suck it up. That's how it always is. Wait till you move out and that's where everything gets better. |

| I've moved out about 2 years ago..and even though I enjoy the freedom..I miss the part that my parents used to take care of everything (payments and stuff)..because I have a lot of problems with my landlord and my schoola and..in fact.. all the govermental institutes: they lose my letters, my applications..all o' dat! Makes me wish my parents could take care of it again! |

| When I said that everything gets better when you move out, I meant that everything gets better with your parents because then you realize how different it is when you gotta take care of your . |

very true. the worst part is when you move back in for any reason and the old feeling return. Especially when they expect you to be home at nine and not go out. But I'm only back for the summer. Going back to school after. |

| yeah..tottally agree with you ladies! I was like 23 before I start to appreciate all that my parents did for me...Now...5 years later I have to utmost respect for them, and know that they did do everything they could do to steer me in the right direction. I just wish I listened to em more between the ages of 17-23, but now I am making up for it! :) |
