All my beliefs have changed, my ethics are no longer what they were.
I was going to the millitary, for two years (Sergant), and then study for five years. Yep, pretty straightforward don't you think?
But then I met her... Exchange Student (Wow, am I not an idiot?)...
Deeplessly in love, I've desided to the millitary, and go together with her to NYC and live with her at her brothers house(free of charge!) for a while, eg. till my Greencard expires :P ... However I will need a job. Now that's the real reason for this post.
I'd like to hear from someone who lives there, if it's IMPOSSIBLE to get a job, whatever you know, 7-11, gas station, Computer Tech(especially this one), whatever :) |

im not from NYC, but of anyplace in the US you should be able to find a job there...especially if you are willing to work anywhere. be careful with convenience stores(711), gas stations or liquor stores tho. no reason to get robbed/shot for a few bucks.
dont let me scare you tho, it will be fun, trust me|
btw- post this in the NYC forum and that will help more! |

i live in new york and the job market is BAD. you could probably find something but it'll be difficult to support yourself. though not paying rent will help a lot. your main problem is that you will problem need working papers or something, i'm not sure how that works.
but, you'll love new york. so much to do here. |
