| Hmm all I have to say is I don't care about what people's avatars are but I wish there were a quicker way than clicking on the person's name and waiting for info to load to see if they're male or female or something. Not trying to be sexist in any way but it's easier or more natural to me to know something about who I'm talking to rather than just talking blankly to unknown identies. So, yeah. If not avatars then some other aspect of your account should tell something about you. I also think minimized identity on the forums ::could:: lead to more flaming, because people are probably less afraid to start huge scathing fights at the drop of a hat if they don't have to go in fear of actually being known as themselves. Then again who am I to talk, I'm a friggin caffeine molecule, I just remembered that now... :) |
