Is it appropriate to use analogy to attempt to dissect some parts of the conflict? Let's say, if Mexico were failing to hand over suspected terrorists to the U.S.A? What would be an appropriate reaction? |
That's an innaccurate analogy. If a terrorist group were operating out of Mexico and carrying out attacks against US civilians in Texas and the Mexican government refused to use force to reign them in, then what would be the appropriate reaction? Should we all just scratch our heads and say c'est la vie? |

Knowing the U.S., maybe a couple of random bombings, a trade embargo, a botched operation by the CIA involving some Mexican defectors....you know, the usual! :happy2: |

No, not at all. I think my intentions were misread.
I say it is an accurate analogy. If that situation occurred, then military force would be applied, and the US would be justified in doing so. (Make it Canada, and I would agree too. I mentioned Mexico because of the similar difference in quality of life, which doesn't just refer to GDP/capita, as some of you think.)
Very much like the situation in Israel. Abbas says he doesn't want a 'civil war', so he will only jaw jaw jaw with Hamas while they brainwash dead-enders into blowing themselves up. Israel is now doing what it thinks is right to get rid of Hamas. |

The situation you proposed is very very very very very unlikely to happen. Mexico probabaly wouldn't think twice about helping the U.S., considering the massive amount of they would be in if they didn't. |

| That's why it is a hypothetical situation . |

| Yes, but it's a really BAD hypothetical situation. |

the only people who will argue that israel should be allowed to exist are person's calling themselves "jews" like its a race, most of whom which do not practice judaism. the cananites occupied what is now israel before abraham left ur to inhabit that place. that land did belong to the hebrews, but in 70ce the romans leveled their capitol, and abolished the jewish system of things. since then, it has been open to anyone... right now it really belongs to the united states since they have wasted my ing taxes to help protect it. i say let israel do whatever it wants, but dont give my money to them. i would rather give it to eritrea, or some country that really needs it.
israel is a joke. all you rich s obviouslly have some reason to defend it. you s. |
