hm but if 1000s of people love it he could release it
Ghostface
He should release it if he's allowed to. I like it better than the corsten mix.

heh interesting story with this tune

if you go to [only-dj's] and search for william orbit you will get some interesting results.

and if you scour the internet in search of tiesto interviews you might come across this [interview] where tiesto states:

"Tiësto: I don’t think it will ever be released, I just made it for myself to play out because its one of my favourite classical songs."

So there you go 2 conflicting situations, i wonder if ppl that ordered their Adagio for Strings vinyl will ever get it. So far it doesnt seem like it.
popop
Its quite simple

Who owns the rights to the samples / song ?
Will they allow tiesto to licence or whatever it called when u pay someone to use a sample ?
Will tiesto either be bothered to pay just so a few TA's can have a copy ?
Will it be commercialy viable ie will the cost of producing it balance out twith the amount of copies to be sold ?

The answer is simply no, to much hassle, the guy just wants his own special mix no one else has. he's too busy to start the whole ty process of releasing it.

its gonna be forgotten about anyway

Shook1
I recently found Barber's Adagio for strings on cd single which included the Ferry Corsten remix as well as the original version. Is this single rare????? enough for me to pick up?????
pagoda
I need this tune bad on vinyl! Hearing it live is absolutely insane:eek:

The good thing about it is it's much more playable in a set than Ferry's is...
