Yea but yours is ing stupid and ill-founded. Tell me M, what is your favourite trance track ever?! Say tomorrow, Nova plays ur trance tune ever at 1pm, by your theory, this trance song has gone from being the best thing ever to a cheesey piece of cod.

^ THAT ^ is why your opinion is wrong.

I agree, dont like this track at all.... but i dont think it falls into the cheese catagory... like u cant place the style of music next to scooter or the others.

i have NEVER heard nova play cj bolland - the prophet, or ayumi hamaskaki - proglogue (hybrid mix) or ANYTHING hybrid EVER. the last "trance" i ever heard on Nova was DJ Sammy which was while i was a delivery boy and had to spend lots of time in the car... i gave nova several chances since then to stop being irritating, and havent heard a good song on nova since

when was YOUR favourite track played on Nova, Pointy?

i mean ffs, sif have a personal dig at someone for saying their likes/dislikes of music and radio stations

have i EVER tried to insult someone on this forum personally?

Cheesy tracks are characterised by their incredibly sweet vocals(almost always fluffy sounding women), the silly sounding lyrics, the over the top saccharine synths and the way in which they just sound pathetic overall! (eg. trance versions of bad 80s pop)
Although 'cheese' is not just restricted to over the top sweetness: it can be used to include tracks that simply sound cheap (eg. that stupid 'blow my whistle bitch!...' song)...
Basically I use the term 'cheese' to describe a song I don't like. It's subjective; I'm sure what I find cheese other people find fantastic.

And just because a song is played on the radio doesn’t solely make it cheese. There are some good tracks played on the radio...as well as a bunch of e ones. Cheesy music is doing as all a favour anyway. I don't think it's particularly 'bad', or it should be destroyed or anything like that. Cheese enhances the good stuff; it makes the good tracks seem so much better. And to be honest, it's fun to mock cheesy tracks. And occasionally it's fun to even listen to cheesy tracks- y'know, just for kicks. It can be a bit of a novelty at times, and sometimes a secret guilty pleasure...
