Sleeper hits?

What were some tracks that unexpectedly came out of nowhere and rose to be anthems?

I'll start with Aquanuts - Deep Sea (Martin Eyerer Remix)

hmm never liked that Eyerer remix. sounded like a rip off of every trance track with the words deep, blue, or sea in the title or vocals. boring IMO. that song was best with the remix Hardwick played in his EM...the original mix matter of fact. at least it wasnt boring...

on the topic tho, i think most 'huge' trance tracks were sleepers that got discovered and blew up! most songs that are expected to be great (by TAs esp) end up being hated, Southern Sun for example, tho they do have their time at the top.

as for a sleeper hit ill put in one of my classics:

Sander Kleinenberg - My Lexicon...

this is possibly THE most subtly and beautifully crafted trance-ish, prog-ish electronic tune ever. its reasonably popular, but since it was neither obvious nor slightly cheesy more people missed it than should have|
