| I've still got the mp3 of this kicking about on a CDR somewhere, gotta admit it was absolute quality, really dark and pounding.. just seemed to vanish and never be heard of, perhaps he's just biding his time!? :conf: |

i had a sign that said "dark room" when he played in toronto.....he laughed and gave a gesture to lower the sign.
just stopped playing it really.........dont know why |

lol, good one. we haven't heard that about a million times before and it's still not funny.
For a start the tune was never called dark room, this was made up by somebody on another web site and it spread worldwide. he never named this tune and unless it does come out on his upcoming album (drools uncontrolebly), he never will name it.
I think the reason he stopped playing it was the fact he had been hammering it in every set in the year 2002, to do the same again in 2003 would not show much originality.
it was a great tune, one that wiped the floor with gatex, and one that was around in 2002, so maybe it should stay there, lets not drag it on and on. |

chesco you seem to know a lot about it, do you know under what name I can download a full version of it at good quality

| yeh im gutted, picotto has gone too funky to bother releasing this tune now anyway, and the reconstruction is nothing like the proper version which makes me sad coz it was such a daddy tune. :( |

well when he played it at cream back in march 2002 the complete tune lasted about 15 minutes. it was the last tune he played.
the ones on soulseek are ripped from a set and are poor. you won't get a full length version due to the fact none of mauros studio computers are linked to the internet making them impossible to leak.
i can only hope it will come out on the upcoming album, but according to the meganite administrators it's never up for release:conf:
it comes under mauro picotto - dark room on soulseek. it's taken straight out the nature one set tho'. The one i downloaded still had the effects in it. |

This tune could be on 1 of the 2 forthcoming eps he bringing out afta the alchemist ep.This ep with dark room or wotever its called will presumably be on BXR however im not too sure....so dont quote me on that!!
