Hmm.. It's good, but basically it is a ripp-off of L. Carol's Alice in Wonderland, a la nippon. Basically, I still prefer Myazaki's older (and greater works) like Mononoke Hime, Nausicaa, or even Laputa...

Spirited Away was a great movie...

I still love Tonari no totoro. Omosiroi desu yo. Reminds me of when I was a kid, everything was so innocently sweet, just like that movie. Porco Roso (a.k.a. Crimson Pig) was also a very moving film similar to those. :D

i thought the movie was awsome. it was some really trippy japanese psychadelic . im not gonna watch the movie again unless im high.:eyespop:

I loved "Spirited Away", and although commercializing it a little, the oscar was kind of cool.
If you enjoyed spirited away, you might want to check out "princess mononoke" & "nausicaa & the valley of the wind", both from the same director.

Spirited Away blew me away. My knowledge of anime was very limited before watching this movie. I can safely say this is one of my favourite movies ever, anime or not.

I have to thank the people in this forum, especially Sothis for bringing my atttention to this great classic!
