i got a new ipod and sorting out genres and titles is starting to piss me off
I've been using ephpod and it almost NEVER saves genre name and title names and it always crashes after exiting.

I have songs that have no tags with a title that includes the artist
and misnamed genres like Nebuchan is techno and other trance songs as House

is there a program to extract a title such as rank 1 - airwave and puts it into the tag so it says title:airwave artist:rank 1 ?

i know i have to do the genres by myself

found one at http://download.com.com/3000-2141-1...tml?tag=lst-0-2

works VERY well, it can clean file tags so if you have something like 02-airwave - when things go wrong it can take out 02
and it can also make its own ID tags by reading the file name

yes there is a TA made prog that was written by dawn i think.. called media filename converter which i think you will find here :)

i find it works very well, it can do as many mp3's at once as u like, and its also got stuff u can input for it to remove :)

In a semi-related question:

I recently used a mac with iMusic and I like how it organizies and displays mp3 list. Unfortunately im a PC user so i use WinAmp. Everyone seems to love Winamp, but i think its lacking in organizing and creating play lists and utilizing the mp3 tags especially genre. For example if i want to play like all my House or Goa i'd like just to select that genre and press play. Are there any better PC mp3 program for what im talking bout?

With a 30g Ipod, I HAD to have all my tags in order. I tried everything I could find and this one was so good...I actually bought it.
