There have been stabbings in toronto clubs (even the guv..) happens everywhere. But i feel as safe at aria as I do anywhere here in ottawa. |

| seriously i was there and people were still asking for music when the lights turned on at 8:45 just to tell you how much for a normal night it was (except the hip hop room got closed) |

lorsque j'ai appris la nouvelle, j'ai fait le tour de mes invités pour savoir s'ils avaient été stressés ou quoi.. aucun problème.. c'est passé comme un fait divers..
le Aria est sécuritaire, les médias sont des rapaces et le main room r0x0r :D

| jpense pas que personne s'inquiète de la sécurité au ARIA... c'est plus de l'image positive difficile a garder par rapport au club....(pour les gens qui n'y vont pas) |

| Its not hard to sneak stuff in, I suppose depending on the size of the knife, I've snuck in cameras before, and those are pretty big, so a folding knife the size of a camera wouldn't be hard. JF, just as a note, I don't do this anymore but when I did sneak in cameras I would just leave it right in my hand(seems simple enough) They go to frisk you and you put your arms up and you keep your hands above the bouncer ( they've never actually checked in my hands!) I think I came in 5 or 6 times with a camera and did this, and not once did they see it. perhaps this is worth mentioning to your employees. |

| yo that is crazy and i thought aria was like super tight security but wtv i guess we all slip up some times....ive seen a guy get his brains blow off at la boom.....brains on the wall...very disturbing.....:nervous: |

| did that really happen at LaBoom... when/where, i'm just really surprised that i didn't hear about it, my friends are there practically every weekend and are friends with much of the staff |

mmm..this stuff can happen anywhere anytime..
specially if ure going to an after hours club. u should accept the fact that weird stuff can happen, and that its less safe than any other normal club..
if ure gonna chicken out about it, then just dont go!
Dont blame it on the security, security at aria is good enough...plus nobody wants to wait for an extra hour or two outside in the freezing weather just to get 1500 peeps scanned thoroughly.
anyways regarding the incident...nobody ever mentioned the stabber! did they catch him or what? |
