So what. Other people may take your insults the wrong way also, and it's not right for you guys to not be banned if that's the case. If there is any rule on the forums about insults and whatnot, it should apply to ANYONE. Just because you guys may know each other gives you guys no right to have special priveleges.
edit: Oh and let me guess, you are immune despite the fact you called him a twat? You are no better than he is if you insult him and he can't respond.

You're new to the forums, and you probably don't know a lot about the past, there was a time when everyone knew each other, and banter was a part of what made the forum unique, we didn't have a political forum then, nor people like the banned guy who tries to prove his beliefs by belittling a guys spelling at what was 5am for him, he was repeatedly offensive, and dealt with, offensive in the way that is Not meant for fun, and is a typical thing what's come with a lot of newer people in this forum, and others like yourself who doesn't know what he's on about and getting involved in something that doesn't involve him to try & make a statement.
I have also invited coup to read this post, and he'll tell u what he says when i call him a twat
Wrapping this up, stop trying to make something big out of something small, it's pointless |

Look, there are lots of people who have been suspended, and the mods do a very good job of picking out trouble makers, this guy repeatedly offended so got suspended, you not dropping it means that it's gonna drag on and it won't get anywhere but more people reading this and then replying will make a mountain out of a molehill, which the forum doesn't need, the matter has been dealt with, so just leave it there please |

Yea really ... I'm not new on these forums at all and I've seen far greater offenses go by unpunished. I've said it before and I'll say it again, if the mods are going to be banning people then please be consistent about your policies.
Somehow it seems to me the only reason you banned him was because he offended you personally. Because I see plenty of other people being insulted left and right without any kind of repurcusions. |

TBH - as shaky situation as he was in - it werent the best idea to then decide to insult people he knew were mods. |

to be fair mate, its none of your ing beeswax, and if you wanna talk about ppl immaturely covering theyre tracks (as you sed about ian) ... then lets talk about your blatant thread duplicating last night, now to me, i find it stupid to copy a thread if one already exists that been started in the same week (see ligaya threads), but you managed to miss a brand new thread that was opened a god damn hour b4 yours, and then when i told you of this, you 'immaturely' tried to cover your tracks and say the 'hard trance dj's' thread didnt have many track names in.
there are ppl on the forums that are notorious for flame warring and starting arguments (im not saying drummerraver was) but half the time you cant see it.
small piece of advice, the mods on this entire forum r mods cos of theyre respected service and reputation, so old swampybaby must think theyre doing a damn fine job. Also if you cant spot the difference between banter and abuse, then your probably better off not posting on these forums.
and until you have earned yourself mod status you obey the rules like nearly everyone else, nosey <<<< not banter. |
