Have you tried it in a different CD player? I find that my home cd player doesn't like CDRs burnt in CDRWin, but they play okay on other peoples' CD players and on computers.
Either that or you somehow burnt it as data. I'm not sure what the parameter is but you need to toggle something. |

I'm pretty sure it doesn't actually. Its the only thing Nero lacks is burning *.bin and *.cue files  |

i have nero version 5 and i have just burnt 2 cds (Magik 7 and Chicane) and they work fine what you do is goto file burn image and then instead of going to nri or whatever the nero thing is goto all files and find a cue double click on it and it will load straight up its great. i remember ages ago when i was familiar with cues i tried to burn chicane (live at palldium) and it said mp3 and you know how nero converts mp3s to wavs well it would lock for ages when i double clicked on the cue in nero and i thought it had locked...
but once i just left it and it came up and i thought cool it can do cues! and it much have been converting the mp3 to wav in that period cause now when i load a cue file concerning a wav it loads straight up maybe its a feature only available in 5? but you can do it and i just have :P
ok cheers dood take it easy
so in a nutshell to do cues
1. Get Nero 5
2. goto File ---> burn image
3. goto all files
4. Select Cue should load up
5. Gives yu burning dialog!
also if you goto extra in nero it has a great really fast mp3 to wav encoder i find this very handy in converting my mp3s to wav before burning cues.... although like i said befor eif you wait for AGES maybe it will burn a mp3 as it converts it but im not sure!
also if you like il put up th esetup files for my nero somewhere if you like i got it on cd with my burner and it definitly does cues...
ok hope this helps!
cyas!

Ok Jah, cool about the *.cue files I didn't realise that, and I haven't tried it, but the only reason I thought that was so, was because when it says burn image it only asks for either *.* or *.nrg, so I figured it didn't support cue or bin files.
In regards to the MP3 Encoder, although it is quick, and still uses the Fraunhofer codec, it has been changed and adjusted, and doesn't encode with the same quality as the good old Radium Fraunhofer Enocder v1.263. I found this out, and I wondered why the enocding was so quick...I use nothing but the best...Lame v3.88b. Go to www.r3mix.net for more information. You'll be convinced too.
And whilst burning, Nero decodes MP3's on the fly, so it doesn't decode them to disk, then burn them to CD. It's all done as fast as your burner and system can cope with. |

Hey, Jah
Actually Nero is my fav. burning soft.
It's pretty good with all kind of
image files also, but...
I tried to burn .cue/.wav long time ago.
And screwed a couple of CD-Rs.
The problem was it added very small gap
between 1 and second track.
And also all tracks were shifted 2 seconds.
I'm talking about version 5.0.xx
Never tried it in 5.5.xx 'cause still
don't trust it :)
Am I wrong? ;) |

ok thanx alot for the info paul il check it out...
in terms of the gap dfrom k im not sure il go check it out now
*runs to stereo*
*5 mins later*
it seems to be fine dood it does that -2 secs thing and fades in perfect...?
maybe the gap you were talking about was in referance to the timings before a track? i know when you compile a cd without cues (audio) the tracks are set to a default of 2 secs gap within each one and you have to select them all right click and change the gap to 0?
but if its in regards of cues this seems to mix in with no gaps at all |
