Discogs says it was released before D-Clash, so is it possibly the other way around, or that they were produced independently?

Hmm!

could be in court as we speak..who knows

musicians always seem to steal each other's work

josh wink and mauro picotto are two examples.
Dumonde Trancer
to be fair the synth and melody are so old skool it wudnt suprise me if theres another 10 tunes fro mthe last decade which "sound the same"

"All I Want features an instantly recognizable stab riff reminiscent of Inner City's Good Life."

Yep, got to agree. It's featured on Devilfish's "Past & Present."

josh wink

stole a riff of a song by dan bell who runs 7th city records (ironically) and used it in a song. Dan Bell wanted to sue but he knew it would cost him a fortune.

he also stole lil louis - french kiss without permission

he released the white label and the record company that signed it fought it out with another just to get it released.

Wow, I had no idea there were so many tracks with this type of riff. They're virtually identical. The more the merrier, I suppose!
