Well, I've been DJ'ing for a while and I thought that it was time to start and try to make my own music :)
So I got cubase VST 5.0, Absynth 1.3 and Z3ta+, I installed all these programs but now I have a problem.
When I make a midi channel, and try to play it with my soundcard as an instrument, then I hear the piano playing. Now when I select Z3ta or Absynth as instruments, I hear absolutely nothing (and yes, I selected a preset in these softsynths).
Anybody have a suggestion? :)
Thanx! |

Have you tried using the Absynth keyboard? Does that make any sound? Try opening the mixer and look for the Absynth channels - does anything register on them at all? Are they turned up? |

open up absynth by itself (without cubase running) and see if it works then. You may still have to configure your soundcard settings for these programs |

When I open up absynth standalone it works fine, but when I turn it on in Cubase and press edit, I hear nothing when I touch a key. Very strange!
When I look in cubase, the pattern should make a sound (the sound bar pattern on the left is going up and down) |
