i wanted to rip an album now (CD)
i usually use Audiocatalyst
but i when i tried to rip the album i found out that the program only rips in "Analog mode"
Usually this should be "ASPI mode"
and its not possible to change the option back
what shall i do?

yep the same 4 me..i was at 1 point lookin around 4 a tool 2 o this and couldn't find 1 then i found the musicmatch jkebox...and its soo easy 2 use..but i wouldn't agree with the quality side quite so much i had some problms when rippin...u must lave it on its own 2 get evea chance of good quality.which is stupid!!but it still gets my vote..does a whole load of other things aswell..!!:) |

| I use easy cd extractor too. Work just fine 4 me. Only complaint I had, was I wish it would search the net like winamp does when u put a CD in, so that way if u dont know what track # u want, u can read the title...but thats soo petty that I still love it |

i also use cd extractor (also known as Cdex) it doesnt seen as fast as others, but with this one u get a jitter meter, so u known if theres a skip/jitter in ur rip, others such as alto just rip straight thro them, and then when u made ur cd or listen or whatever, u find 10's of skips which is VERY frustrating!
Cdex Avaiable here - Cdex
peace from me  |

thats what error control is for... almost every ripping prog thats any good has it in it somewhere. error control also stops this from happening, and retries until it gets the bit it wants without jitter. so it does a clean rip unless ur CD/whatever is completely ed.
it does take loads longer with error control on though. the best ripper ive used, and im usin atm is musicmatch jukebox... pretty swift and does do it in nice quality.
