to all religious people!!!
note that GOD is still GOD regardless of how other so called religious peeple act. your minister or other religious leaders may sin and stuff but GOD continues to be GOD. so if that is what is holding you back from church don't let it stand in your way.
by the way i am religous. go to church when i can. |

| i believe and i go to church when ever i can. the only part that pisses me off is that when a big event happens people hit the church up with attendence for a month then falter after that. |

one of Jesus' tenets was for christians to congregate with one another. Church is the most convenient. Its supposed to be a community thing but people always just go in, sit down, stand up, leave. I do mission stuff and bible studies they are a lot more fun.

I am a believer...and not because of the stuff that they preached to me during my childhood when I was forced to go to church by my mother.
I have been to church just a few times in the past 5 years. I was finally old enough to sit and actually take in what was being said and see how it affected all of the people sitting in the church and how it affected me. I don't agree with what is being said. I actually thought that some of it was complete bull. I don't believe that going to church drives most people to be the aspiring pure entity that they go to church to be. I have met countless Christians who don't practice what they preach and supposedly stand for.
I do like the idea of community and good will that it creates though. There can't be anything possible wrong with that in this day and age.
But I don't believe that God exists because of what a minister told me or what I read in a Bible.
I believe in God because I feel him in my life. |

Actually, you know what...now that I think about it...
Most of the worlds problems come from people's insecurities.

Religion.
