I'm looking for songs that have a trancey feel but without the typical bassline. Hm hard to explain, but tracks like these:
Lustral - Broken [Way Out West Remix]
Lustral - Everytime [Way Out West Sunrise Remix]
Way Out West - Stealth [Nubreed Remix]
Way Out West - Mindcircus (the version from the 'Intensify' album)
Basically songs with vocals, that "breaky" sound, and more on the chillout side.

I don't have much like that, but I'll see if I can dig up a few things.
Solar Stone - Solar Coaster might be an option. No vocals, but it has a soft beat.
Oceanlab - Clear Blue Water (Ferry Corsten Remix0 if I'm understanding you correctly, this is about exactly what you want.
Dumonde - God Music (Euphoric Mix) is a decent option. |

while these are nice songs, they aren't anything like he said.
to original poster: you obviously have a thing for way out west ;) i don't blame you, they're excellent. check out WoW - The Fall. also, starecase - faith, as mentioned above, is great and has nice breaks. if more come to mind, i will post here again. |

Hm okay. Getting these songs is difficult as my connection is limited for that purpose.
Solar Stone - Solar Coaster: i like this song, but it's not what I'm looking for. I'm not looking for that steady bass, if that makes sense. Kind of that break-beat type of bass.
w.o.w - the fall: again, looking for that break-beat type. (like this song as well though)
w.o.w - intensity (part 2) : yes!!! this type of song! I wonder if this helps though? hehe. Hard to explain exactly what I'm searching for.
Okay. I'm looking for vocals in the songs though. Some of the songs mentioned do not have vocals at all. So vocals + that break-beat type is what I'm looking for.
But please keep the suggestions coming! I'll be going home in a few days for summer break and I will finally be with my cable modem - with no bandwith restrictions :) |
