I just downloaded AvB's ASOT 100, which came in 5 parts. I want to merge all of them, but HJSplit will not recognize them as files when I find them on my PC. Is there a better program for merging/splitting mp3s?
mmilo
hm, what format are the files in? .001,.002....?
maybe your first file is corrupted and it won't work.
or, you coudl try using winrar?

It has nothing to do with the mp3 files. No mp3 files show up when I click to search for a file to join.

if they are not in the proper hjsplit format you can make them work. make sure you can see the whole file name in windows (ie. make sure it says song1.mp3 and not just song in windows). if it is not like this then go to folder options, then view, and uncheck the box that says hide extensions of known file types. if they are three mp3s, then just add .001, .002, .003, ect to the end of each file. the file name should then look like song1.mp3.001, song2.mp3.002, ect. then use hjsplit. theoretically you could join any random files together as long as they have the right format (.001, .002, ect).

I use MP3Cutter v.2 from the software section on the main site
