How come the G & D and Sweeping Strings Remix of As the Rush Comes are identical???

| Couldn't find a thread on this, but what the hell? I don't think I have them labelled wrong, but they are the same except there's no vocals at the VERY beginning of the Sweeping Strings remix... anyone can clear me up on this?? Or does Gabriel & Dresden = Sweeping Strings?? Damn, this is a bad day for me, musically... just out of everything as you could see from my first topic today haha. Bear with me fellow TAs |

| It's the same mix. The one labelled Gabriel & Dresden Remix was ripped from their essential mix and has the vocal bit at the beginning which isn't part of the track. And yes, the Sweeping Strings mix is done by them. |

they are the same..and that's that.
just, the one with the male samples features 'the warning' [if that's the correct name of the song, i cannot remember] by WOW- the same way that many of G&D rips feature accapellas.
gabriel & dresden = sweeping strings
in fact, it's supposed to be named 'gabriel & dresden sweeping strings mix' just like 'beautiful things' was,
but in this case
gabriel & dresden pres. motorcycle - as the rush comes
gives that away. |

Um no, there are definately two different mixes of this track. I grabbed the official release of the Sweeping Strings mix off the hub and one that was labeled the Gabriel & Dresden Remix. The Gabriel & Dresden mix starts out with just vocals while the Sweeping Strings mix starts out with a beat. I can't find the G&D Mix I had or I'd post the full filename, I think I may have deleted it because it was only a radio/liveset rip. They were definately different though.
But in response to you question...G&D does = Sweeping Strings. In recent G&D fashion, I do believe there are 2 mixes of "As the Rush Comes" though...they have been releasing 2 mixes when they do a tune lately. |

| OK, that sorta clears it up. Because I had a release called 01-motorcycle-as the rush comes (gabriel & dresden remix).mp3 and then the Sweeping Strings mix and they are both vinyl rips, not from live sets so I was confused. Whatev, they both sound the same except for the vocal at the beginning. |
