going to raves/parties alone. experiences/advice?

| ok, so i plan on going to a party tomorrow. i was supposed to go with a friend, but he bailed and im stuck by myself. i spent too much money and this is too huge to miss (scott bond and matt hardwick). soooo i was wondering if anyone here has gone to a party alone, and how it went for them. hopefully i can meet some new ppl, but i was wondering if anyone had advice or stories for me. thanks. |

I've had this happen to me b4, it could go 1 of 2 ways:
1. If u got a relaxed attitude and its a open party you'll make lots of new friends and have a blast.
2. If ur nervious and the ppl are clicy you'll end u in the corner trying to pretend you're having a good time. Which really sux.

| well i plan on rolling (i know i know dont get started with the whole need to roll to have fun thing. i planned to do it before w/ my friend). so im hoping its #1. anyone else? |

| yo man if your alone i recommend you pop...it'll help ease your anxieties and on the whole you'll be more sociable/ friendly thus making it easier to find some ppl who are just as chill to kick it with for the night going solo aint half bad provided your comfortable with the whole idea of it and the whole scene |

| besides the fact I don't do drugs in the first place (but that's my choice) I CERTAINLY wouldn't 'pop' when I'm by myself! |

I just don't get it!!!
you don't need to do drugs to enjoy music and/or parties, and to get to know ppl......
just relax and have a good time!!! |

it's not fun to go to parties alone :( but I will agree with you that this is too big to miss
my advise, dont do drugs if you're gonna be alone, if anything happens to you you wont have anyone trustworthy to help you out
I suggest you call some friends and tell them that you really want to go to gatecrasher and that if they truly are your friends they will come with you so you wont be alone ;) |

do it solo if you don't want to miss out on the event!
I've seen more djs solo then with other people and I've always loved doing it!
I think it makes you experience the night to it's fullest :p |
