Practically lost it when he threw down "Sky Falls Down"...one of my favorite tracks of all time. lol...I was telling E-vangelist the day before the show how I was considering bringing my 12" copy of that track to get signed. I ended up bringing my cd of "Transparance", though, which he signed. Armin even drew headphones around his head! ^_^
You can see me in most of Galdamez's pics, when Armin came out of the booth (thanx for the pics, Galdamez!)! It's tough being a short guy when everyone is diving for the DJ! ~_^ But I managed, and, in probably one of the funniest and coolest moments I have ever had since how I met the Harlem Globetrotters, he just opened his arms, and I hugged him!! lol. What an awesome story to be able to tell!
It was great, hanging around afterward, waiting for Armin to come out. This is my first post here, so I wasn't really familiar with anyone, so if I didn't say hi, my apologies. But Armin came out, we clapped, and eventually got a nice group pic with him (must get photo paper...definitely worth framing. Would look nice next to my pic with Jewel years ago!).
Armin should put that group pic on his website.

Johnny is a tool and a douchebag, nuff said
and he trainwrecks every 5 seconds when he mixes...I dunno how much brown-nosing he did to get that gig, but it musta been a hell of a lot
and then when the REAL DJ's come on, all he does is stand in the DJ booth and get in their way and play that goddamn ing siren every 5 seconds, completley butchering the breakdowns of many a great tune. Someone needs to take his punk ass out |

i agree with beema. every time ive been to Glow....that stick Johnny has been a total dick!!! regardless if he is your friend or not sammy....not to many TA's like him. im not here to bash his mixing skills cause ive never been to Glow early enough to hear him...and if i was, then i wasnt paying attention. but seriouslly....he acts like he owns the ing joint and treats the club goes like .....but as soon as i whip out my camera to take a picture with all the TA's (the same people that he treats like ) hes right there to ruin my pics!!! :whip: :whip: :whip: |

UGH! sirens!! they annoy me SO MUCH.:whip: :whip: :whip: i was so glad that Armin's set barely had any sirens in it. |
