For Anyone Who Knows How 2 Make Tracks. Help!!

| Ok, i am now at the satge were i wanna produce trance tracks professionally to release standard not just on some ready made midi files from dance ejay! I recently brought a magazine called 'Digital music maker' which had a loada demos for various dance production demos. But when I looked at these demos I couldn't undersatnd any of it! there's so many different buttons like oscillation,aux,attack etc...the list could go on.. I don't understand any of this and how it works but i am desperate to make tunes! when it comes down to it i could play most sounds and melodies on a keyboard and use various drum/riff disks for baselines etc. The only thing I really need to know is how to make your own sounds, particually soft/landscape sounds, cna anyone help me!!!!! |

| what u need is a software synth... the oscillators and all that is 4 making yur own sounds,.... just tweak them and experiment and then you will get yur very own synths... it might sound good @ the first, but; try & fail... thats how i learned it... ;) |

yeah its kinda scary when u see all the twiddly knobs and sliders on a synth.. as cuba said, u just need to sit down for a few hours and just fiddle with it. then u will get it straight in ur own mind what everything does and how it works :)
