Pitch/bend.. What this is is you have two notes with a pitch transition between them... like when you bend the string of a guitar to the next note. |

both are the piano roll...
Snare Roll - draw a long note, then select it by dragging while hitting control, then hit control-U - it will then allow you to slice up the note as fast as you want. First slice it up with 16th notes, then drag the bottom of the piano roll area so the velocities get bigger towards the end... then later do the control-U and slice them up way faster.
Bending Notes - in the piano roll make a green note for the first note - if you want to make a chord use a different color for each note in the chord. The original note has to be long enough to cover from the beginning of the first note to the end of the slide note. As soon as you want the note to start sliding, hit the triangle button at the top of the piano edit window, so you get the same color - like green, only its painted with a triangle inside it. |

erm...
Yeah green is just the first color thats selected. In fruity you get green, blue, pink, orange i think. By using different colors you can segregate slide events by using a slide note matching the color of the note you wanted to slide.... Example would be a green note you want to stay the same, and a pink note right next to it that you want to slide. By making a pink slide, it effects only the pink.
And hey on the side - you can slide more than pitch - you can slide note cut adjustment, resonance, volume, pan, channel vol/pan/cut - you almost don't need 'edit events' anymore. |
