| meh, I don't mean this to sound bad, but I'm not entirely sure that Plummet - Damaged is such a good choice. I mean, there are already many remixes of it, which kinda limits us somewhat... Surely it would have been better to have picked a track that has not yet been remixed..? But hey, never mind. |

as it seems not everyone is entirely happy with the song chosen!
im not too bothered but as the pella and midis were available i thought it was a good choice! the pella is still available if needed!
i reckon we should figure out the song before we go any further! but as Fatboy won the last comp he should get to decide as thats the way it was worked out before!
so whats the score with this comp then? whats the tune going to be? |

yeah again im definitely in for this one!!
but i guess we need to really organise what the song is gonna be cos a fair few ppl have expressed their disatisfaction for the song of choice. personally i dun care cos i dont even know the original anyway!

I'd like to judge/organize, but i'm entering, so i cant really :S.
I think the rules should be from the previous remix comps, they worked well.
I'm drawing up an official thread at the moment, but we MUST agree on wether dammaged is the track we are going to do, we cant have flame wars going on. Regardless of what you think, you can CGANGE the melody, and not even use vocals if you want, its a remix!
You have the creative freedom to change it around, to de-cheese it so to speak.
If we can stop disagreeing on that, then ill put up an official thread (not that im judging, as im entering myself).
In that official thread, people can officially enter and so forth.
i think that dj k is right, we should just judge by the poll method mabye, cause that way everyone can have a say. If everyone is ok with what i just said, ill put up an official thread. |
