Would any one be able to tell me a way I could sample vocals from a mp3 with music, eliminate the music, and use the just the vocal for a song i want to create? Thanks in advance... -ht81 |

Is this even possible? Yes, you can always strip everything but the main vocal freqs with EQing, but you'd never get it perfect, actually, you would never get it good at all! |

There was a thread about this earlier, talking about how if you took an instrumental-only version of a song, reversed its phase, then mixed it with the full-version, you'd end up killing everything but the vocals... This might work from one verse to the next I'm guessing, leaving only minor sounds. |

As the first dude said, it's not really possible. Do a search for the acapella on the internet. |

Yeh, the phase reverse thing could work, but can you even do it without a phaseshiftbutton on a mixingboard? Can you do that with only a computer? |

It can be done in sound forge or most other wave editors ;) |
