| ok peeps how come i get buffering on winamp every 30 secs??i have the latest version!ad yevat and woz say they get like 72 mins without buffering!!!ARGH some 1 please help me!!!what am i doing wrong??i cant tune in2 TA radio!even at like 10am |

| no cos even if i leave the screen totally blank except 4 the winamp(which i shudnt have 2 anyways) if still buffers every less than a minute and yevat can browse the net and download and still get 71 mins uninterupted and we live in the ough same area and we both have ntl so what else could it be any ideas? |

| it could be your phone line, it can make a lot of difference to a dialup connection. what is your average connection speed?? me and tu_face are both on the same phone exchange but I get an average of 44,000 and he gets about 33,000... (that's a combination of phone line and modem :p) he can't connect to ta radio either. |

well i'm not sure what u mean..this is what my internet box reads:-
Connected at :- 115,200 bps
Bytes received :- 9,894,858
Bytes sent :- 548,544 |

hmmmmm.... that can't be right, it's not possible to connect at 115k on a 56k modem.... erm...... what's your average download speed? (k/s) |

ING HELL! me and martijn both have ntl and 56k modems and ben, ur not alone in the buffering bollocks! how u get connected at that i have no idea! thats obsurd for a 56k! well, normally, in the day when lots of ppl are using ntl, i cant listen to streams as they buffer every 15secs, but around 9+ its normally ok and i can get long play times. basically ben its ntl, but normally the later in the day the better it is, but if some1 is shoutcasting at a too high bitrate, uve got no chance! all the sc's on ta are done at the same, try it after 9 or summut!
