I know. Breathe actually never went anywhere. For the past three years Breathe Friday’s at System Soundbar has been the number one Progressive House event in the city. For the last 18 months Mr. Breathe himself Mark Scaife has been holding down the fort, preserving the integrity of the name with his memorable warm-ups and his celebrated marathon sets. However, all good things come to an end and Mark has chosen now as his time to pass the torch.
And who better to fill the shoes of Toronto’s Progressive legend than the duo that helped Mark put the Breathe name under the worldwide clubbing spotlight, Solution boys Matt Coleridge and Luke Fair.
This Friday June 20th marks the official return of Matt and Luke along with another former Breathe resident Dekoze. New residents Jerome Robins and Adam Nathan will also be introduced as System Soundbar hosts the Breathe Relaunch.
Be prepared for another string of wild events, as it is only a matter of time before Breathe once again establishes itself as the premier Progressive House event in North America. Look for upgrades in sound and international talent. Max Graham has already committed to a bi-monthly all-night residency and the upcoming bookings look like a who’s who of superstar DJs. |

this is exciting news. I like the idea of a selection of residenst...should be interesting. and finally TO has an international resident! and teh unrelentless De-koze will be a resident there as well!
