looks like this is going down
you mind it i will give it a push to the top again? :D

i believe u cant create the sound on the hardware u have to create them in the software and then tranfer them by usb or midi

but the sound that u get is amezing no other synth sounds like it
Tomer Iserovitc
yeah man know that need alot of midi in\out's too 2 of each
just want to get some info about the sound :]
live too far from the nearest synth store so i cant go and chack it out
hey cheggy
have a look at the reviews on harmony-central. They're normally quite good. I know it doesn't help you but it's something worth doping anyway as they're all user reviews. Also check out SOS www.sospubs.co.uk and try and find a review in there.

I think the vintage synths website has audio demos too for lots of synths if that helps

thanx man
i like your "cat on lsd" :D

Think this is not about transfering but just editing..
you send midi cc to the hardware (=nord) software is instead of the knobs and the lcd to cut costs. Has really powerfull and a large range of sounds..

Hey Tomer, what's up mate. You said you wanted something different than the Virus, and the JP ;), couldn't give you.

Might I suggest a real analog synth, the Juno-106. That's definitely something our Viruses can't do!

There's a reason almost every studio would kill if they had theirs stolen!:gsmile:

thats funny you should mention it, my other choice is either a micro modular or a juno 106 :D
still looking for a cheap one
350-400 dollars and its also the same price range as the mm's
go to go chack it out but to lazy to go to the store :)

About the Juno, yes, I just got mine a week ago and paid around four hundred dollars. I should say that what this synth excells at is making the lower-end of a pad patch. Let's say you want a soaring string type pad and you layer this mid to higher frequency pad with the juno's warm low-frequency pad, the sound is amazing.

If you want to hear it in action ask fumbling on ecstasy over on futureproducers if you can download his "The Perils of Living in 3D" track. All of the pads in that track have the juno on the bottom end of them and they wouldn't be the same without that analog warmth.

It is important to ask the seller if it is "free of juno 106 glitches". Some of them have the problem that every so many keys won't sound in a certain mode. Keep in mind it is an older synth so don't expect anything special in the way of sound creation. This synth does only a couple of things well (very well).

Don't get me wrong, there are much better analog synths, but not with midi built in!

And hey, the last reason to get it is that if you do we will have the exact same synth collection. Hehe. :D
