this is to reference to mixes done by dj's that cross all genres. and im not just talking about some one who dj's trance, and throwing in some breaks or prog. more of a combo of jazz, pop, blues, rock, trance, dnb...etc i mean everything!!!
the two that come to my mind are
Danny Howells EM on July 28, 2002. and
Paul Oakenfolds EM on October 19, 1997.
have any to add?
what you guys think about these? i think they are brilliant, cause you know djs have way more records than what they play. And im always interested in a djs perspective on other types of music, these give the perfect listening opportunity for that.
another to mention is the "Back To Mine" series |

Coldcut - 70mins of dj madness (commercially available cd)
throws in everything but the kitchen sink
timo maas has been known to throw in everything
john digweed live does the same thing
not as much as his sets tho because there he is more deep prog house.
gu015 tends to cross a bunch of genres
disco, house, tech house, techno, dub |

The word has a concrete definition. Though I'm sure everyone has their own opinion about the best eclectic mix(es). |

to those who listen exclusivly to trance, and electronic. the meaning would have been what i was not looking for. i wanted all genres of music, and not just a mix trhough the difference genres of electronic. my collection already has enough
i like to get a view of what inspires the dj. |
