Download Qualcomm PureVoice (free) - You can record anything to a ".qcp" file which is supported by sprint vision phones & can be uploaded through 3gupload.com (although it does take up considerably more space on the phone). When recording part of a song, play it in a media player & then record the part you want with purevoice (but first set the computer's volume controls/properties to record through wav/mp3 or "what u hear" (not microphone) - much better than being an amateur & holding the damn mic up to the speaker).
worked for me. i was able to make pretty high quality trance ringtones and then send them to my phone. i gave up on fiding the ones i wanted on the internet. |

| The real test is if you can, without the use of semi-colons, differentiate cheese from trance or any other type of electronica in a concise sentence :D . |

It's because standard ringtones and "cheesy" music are comparable in that the melodies are simple, and therefore it would be easy to convert it into a ringtone. Polyphonic tones bypass this problem by allowing multilayering of sounds.
And Barbers Adagio != Cheese dammit!!!! |

| Hm get a phone that lets you compose your own that solves the problem. It will give you a little music staff and note options, it's really freakin fun... |
