Hey dude!
Nice to see you posting here. I've heard your music allready, and you sound indeed very professional, I think you are one of the best on mp3.com.

Gothic Voices Part 2 is a beautiful trance tune, melodic and uplifting. Something in the the Chicane style.
Blue Voyage, Evolution and The Arrival are great follow-ups. And the Chicane style vanishes more and more as the tunes develop into something of your own style. Beautiful indeed.

Keep up the good work, and post as soon as you release something new!

what synth are you using for the arppeggios? and that kick sound.. is that a sample?

how do you like that novation?

I posted on here already.. but i'm looking to buy a new synth and am trying to get opinions on which one to get.. any opinions on the waldorf Q?

The arpeggios in 'Gothic Voices Part 2' are from the Supernova. All the other arpeggios are from the Yamaha CS2X Check out 'Degrees of Freedom' for some CS2X arpeggios.

The kick is indeed a sample. I'm saving up for a TR-909 right now though. I plan on compressing the f*%# out of it. Also using the multi outs I will be able to add reverb to the clap and a little on the hats...can't wait!

I've heard great things about the Waldorf Q. It covers a lot of groud for a VA. I chose the Novation Supernova because it's 8 part multi and you can use up to 5 efx on each part! Also, I do a lot of programming my own sounds which I love.

I'm not sure how many parts multi the Q is. But, this is essential if ouy on a limited budget. The other option would be to buy several cheaper synths like the Yamaha AN-1 and the Roland Juno-106 which is an amazing synth. You can get them qiute cheap thease days and they have MIDI to connect with your sequencer. However, you will need a mixer as well.

Another option would be to get a work horse like the Korg Triton or a Roland XV series. These are both increadibly powerful and you can add boards which cover Anolog modeling and dance type sound...definately worth checking out.

nice work, concept. well, since nobody else has commented on 'the arrival,' i guess i will. well, uh...what else can i say but that it's a sweet-ass tune! i like how you actually put work into finding a central melody for the song instead of drowning it out with a bunch of bass synths and beats like a lot of the other tracks on this board. there should be more songs like this around here.
