yeah man recovery is still possible ... on a FAT system the data is never deleted as in physically deleted.... u need to use a file shredder fopr that...
whenever a file is deleted then the FAT is updated to not include the file.... as simple as that if u can reverse the FAT then u're golden... but u need professionals for that... coz u have to know the exact sector and partitions and all that crap :p
if you DEFRAG tho then u're screwed :p .. .esp on win 98;....

fortunately my dad still can't turn my computer on, let alone guess passwords etc...

My Stupid brother saw Marco V - C:\Del *.Mp3
and got curious, he wanted to see what the command does and he tried it on another drive which had all my mp3s on it, the ass did it in DOS and deleted my entire Mp3 collection.
Its just his ing unbelievable luck that I had changed HD a day before and still had my old one with all the files on it. |
