| just got my vmx300 mixer last night but the crossfader isn't working. it only plays out of 1 channel. i have a stanton s550 connected to the mixer on channel 1 and 2. i even tried using channel 2 and 3, or, channel 1 and 3 but still can' get the crossfader to slide over to hear the other channel or both channels. i have the cd player plugged into the line input on the mixer. however, i could hear both channels playing together on my headphones. Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks in advance. |

| Maybe it's a fabrication error... 'cuz i can't immediately think of something that could be wrong... |

1) The crossfader only work between channels 2 & three, these are the main channels (the beat counters who are useless by the way olso work on these channels)
2) Make sure that you plug the turtable into the turntable input and the line into the line input, and swith the know of the line-channel to line.
I this doesn't work that i'd take it back to the shop |

Stupid question, but it's always the little things that get ya. Are the kill switches locked? Do you have the switch on line or phono? If you can hear it in your headphones, there shouldn't be anything wrong, you're probably just overlooking something.
Btw, nice avatar Nabistai, had me mezmerized for a while there. :D |

Check the curve button, the way the crossfader changes depends on the curve button, otherwise than that I have no clue. I'm sure it's something stupid your overlooking :conf:
And thanks for liking my sexy tight-ass :D |
