A. Oratory skills are not necessarily an indicator of intelligence.
B. He didn't steal the office he won it according to the electoral system.
C. However, yes a President should have adequate oratory skills, and yes it appears that his level of intelligence is sub-par for what a President should have. I dunno if many of us here can do a better job though ... |

If that's how you can justify your feelings. Sorry they didn't want to change the rules to suit your liking, after the fact. That would have been more criminal--to write a retro-active law to overturn a constitutional amendment which just happens to be in the Bill of Rights probably wouldn't go over too well, hmmm? That would throw our entire society into a cluster- situation. Face it. Gore lost fair-and-square. After the umpteenth Florida recount, he still lost fair-and-square by the rules that governed the contest.
And if Bush people had been in the same camp, you'd better bet your ass they'd feel the same way you do.
My suggestion for you: Sit back, stop your whining, enjoy the ride, and write your local corrupt politician a letter, kindly asking him to sponsor a bill to change the electoral college. Who knows-your town may even elect you to do it. You'll probably get a medal.

Actually I think he's pretty smart. He was genious in his ability to rise through the ranks of the Baathist party, consolidate his power, and maintain tyrannical control over Iraq for decades. Saddam, Hitler, and Stalin may be monsters but I don't think that I would deny that they were smart men ... in an evil sort of way. |

But Hussein is different, he used murder to get him up their and control his society.... anyone that using that method can instill fear into their population thus making them beckon to his knees. His tactics were also inspired from Stalin...so in essence he is using someone elses approach |
