| with such an international reach on this forum, i just have to ask, what's the biggest genre where you guys are at? here it's probably house, but i hear more and more about progressive every day. seems to be getting more and more popular. people generally say trance is the most popular, but around here it doesn't seem to be the case among locals. |

| im just waiting for hardcore/HHC to hit a nerve here in the states. it doesnt get much respect except from your local rave. it may be unrational thinking but it would be nice to see a hardcore weekly or monthly in my area:tongue3 |

pop. and 'dance'
though, in shanghai, all you ever heard was progressive;
damn good, too.
i was surprised, once..when a local dj who opened for oakenfold played
cass & slide - glad i ate her
shanghai moves forward
just like progressive
mexico, though..
has absolutely no scene.
whatsoever.
if anything, some cheese..and the top 10 dj's are popular.
and those events that feature the top 100 dj's... |

prog house hitting panama nice and hard.
i hear lots of tribal influences here and there as well
on the general note i think people are beginning to appreciate house a little more and have slowly refrained from calling it "monotone"
i mean even pop stars have been beginning to collaborate with great producers... |
