How to make this phat crisp lead (sample included)

I need to make a sharp, crisp lead synth for hard trance.
This is your regular ol' Trance lead (in this case from FM7):

This is the lead I want:

anyways, just put an eq on that synth of urs (the fm7 one) and put the highs up very much, lows down a bit, thats about all:) |

Yup. I did it (sort of) using two FM7's (the Euro trance preset, and the trance lead one) and put the EQ on, the two sliders to the right were up almost all the way, the two on the left were down a bit, and the middle ones were sort of in the middle. Reverb, too.
It doesn't sound exactly right, but it's okay. |
