What motivates someone to call Alphazone cheese? Hard trance doesn't automatically = cheese. Yes, there is some cheese hard trance, but not all of it is cheese. Alphazone produces a great hard trance sound that is pleasing to the ears. Cheese? No.

Easy, Jealousy. Alphazone is far from cheesy, they are easily the fastest and best growing Uplifting Hard Trance ever and piss all over Dumonde, SHOKK and Flutlicht in one line.

Mat sivler vs tony burt-ultimate wave (alphazone remix) is an incredible tune.. I think you have some issues you need to deal with cheese man.

I'll have to check that out :)

The only tune of theirs I really like is Rockin' (in particular the Mat Silver vs. Tony Burt remix) but for the most part I wouldn't complain if I had to listen to one of their tracks. I generally dig this style of melodic, energetic trance (not hard trance per se, but perhaps drifting in that direction); call it cheesy if it makes you feel better. ;)

Are you one of those producers? (might be a stupid question, but I am wondering why you took offense to it)

No Im not one of those producers, I just strongly disagreed with his statement, which incidentally he makes whenever an alphazone thread occurs.

I didnt really take offence to it, I just dont think Alphazone are even close to DuMonde, S.H.O.K.K or Flutlicht.

Ahh, I see. Thanks for clearing that up :)

I like alphazone's tunes, and I also like the above mentioned as well.

SMF
they're awesome... dunno if i'd say they're better than shokk flutlicht dumonde etc though

fav alphazone tunes:

dj kim - jetlag (alphazone mix)
dj kim - get ready to explode (alphazone mix)
mat silver and tony burt - the ultimate wave (alphazone)
alphazone - rockin
alphazone - stay
ian van dahl - try (alphazone mix)
fragrance - don't break my heart (alphazone mix)
dave joy - second chase (alphazone mix)
bk - revolution (alphazone remix)

these lads really are at the top of their game, but i guess if they're not your thing they're not your thing...

i certainly prefer the energetic tip to this gabriel and dresden type rubbish that is floating round... or sleepy trance as i like to call it

:)
chris_norris
It isn't that I despise them or anything - imo their songs are just a bit bland thats all.

I quite like their remix of BK.

Other than that I dont think they compare to the other artists mentioned. But thats just my opinion...
