| I'll buy this for sure.I read all the other books in the series,and they all had me from page 1. One could use a good "fairy tale" once in a while.:) |

| I didn't buy it, but I passed by a Barnest & Noble last night at midnight just to see the mob. There were five cop cars and people lined around the store. It was crazy! |

| If your looking for a fairy tale may i reccomend the artemis fowl trilogy. Just as good as the HP series |

harry potter's world is one of the most imaginative ones i've read in a long time. lucky for me, i get 30% off all books from coles :)
don't think i'm gonna purchase it tho, i'm too hooked on robert jordan's wheel of time. still trying to make up for some lost time catching up with the series. probably one of the most innovative, captivating, absorbing, well-told fantasy novel series i have ever read. i can't put these books down. |

I lose respect for the people who read harry potter novels..
They are weak in context and are aimed for 12yo's...
Not only are they a hype... there large fanbase is aimed at the younger generation(read line above) and therefore have made the writer a BILLIONAIRE...
Not only that.. its just as lame as the spice girls... |

The main reason I think that some people think it's lame is that it's such a big thing and it's not always the best thing to be doing something that everyone and their mom is doing too. The most I've done is seen the movies which I thought were decent...not much of a reader and if I was I think I would seek out better fantasy-type books. |
