I've noticed that over the past 8-12 months, Trance has been gaining more popularity in Toronto, Canada. Every event seems to bring out more and more enthiusiatic and knowledgable trance fans.

The buzz in the city is that the Toronto trance scene is growing again, and I wondered if it was everywhere around the world.

Some of the most recent trance releases have been the best I've heard in a long time, and I feel that the music has more appeal to it than ever before.

Is the trance revolution back to take the mainstream by storm?

i think the trance following is relatively set in stone for north america in general, it may just be you getting more into the scene and further from mainstream that makes it seem bigger, remember you may read that Matt Hardwick is coming to town and get stoked, and being on forums or with others who like it it seems so popular then you venture out into mainstream world and some one smacks ya in the face witha who is Matt Hardwhick lolz

I have to agree with the original post,,, the same is true for Vancouver. PvD,,, Armin,,, Tiesto,,, and Ferry have all been through here in 2003. I have my own club night here which has been happening for over a year now,,, and not only have I noticed more people coming out for the big shows,,, but I've also seen a steady improvement of regulars at my night and at all the parties I play at. It's nice to see so many people getting intersted,,, because it reminds me of myself 3 years ago.

I also agree that there have been some ing mint records being released lately. I've probably spent around to 5 grand US on vinyl in the past year. I have enough saved for Ibiza and I'm going to Hong Kong in september,,, so far I don't think this year could have gone any better :toocool:

all the best,,,

Danny.

Maybe its not so much that theyre mainstream, but they know people like us will pay 20 dollars+ to go to see them, which makes everyone involved money?
