Jays are ok...
More of a Seatle fan myself.
Jays are probably not gonna make it again this year.
They're not gonna beat the Yankees and the Red Sox, and the wild card usually goes to the AL West. |

Baseball teams have been very up and down this year. I don't see the Jays holding on like this throughtout the year. Their pitching is still god awful (minus Halladay of course). Yankees take the east I say, leaving the Jays battling for the wild card, which will probably be taken by Oakland or the Red Sox.
But hey, for canadian baseball's sake, let's hope the Jays can stick it out and hold on to any playoff spot.
It won't matter who comes out of the american league anyway, 'cause Felipe is guiding the Giants to the promise land baby! :D |

| For all the talk of Joe Torre getting the boot and the Yankees doing rubbish this year they are still going to walk away with the AL East. Sox will take second but Toronto have been impressive. |

| Just wait until the Jays play my hometeam, the Mariners... and we love hittin in the Skydome... any Blue Jay fan remember that series the Mariners had in Toronto during the 2000 Season? think we scored something like 55 runs in the 3-game series... |

Quite frankly, although I am from Hamilton, Ontario I have never liked Jays much nor hated them. They got a fine team, doing surprisingly well but they will only have to settle with a winning record at the end of the season, but no playoffs. I am guessing they'll end up with a 92-70 record and just barely miss the playoffs. I'll be surprised if the'll manage to finish better than Red Sox, Yankees or the top 2 AL West teams.
Myself I have been a huge Atlanta Braves fan since '99 World Series. They have won 11 straight division titles (from 1991) and made 5 world series appearances since then, winning once in 1995. At the all-star break they have an 8.5 game lead in the division and have the best record in the majors. Watch them on TBS!!! :toocool: :toocool: :toocool: |

Boone has that no nonsense approach. If he makes a mistake .. it happens, no BS!
Too bad I can't see much of Seattle here. Did see some highlights of Pinella's first game back at Safeco. Booney had a huge homer :D |

| Just remember the '92 & '93 teams winning back-to-back world series championships. Those were a couple of intimidating teams. Ah the memories. Joe Carter, bottom of the ninth, 3-run home run. Yeah:) |

Jay's are better this year...
maybe they'll go to play-offs, but I do not think they will go past first round.
