PPR: The Gathering [6-12->6-15]

Hey everyone, I just wanted to post some pics of our PPR Gathering and some stories of our wild weekend together. It happened from June 12th to the 15th...It’s a very long story with pics to keep y’all entertained!!
Here goes!!
Day One: Thursday, June 12th
Everything's on schedule for Brent [Zewad] and Armando [DJ Cubano] to arrive at Newark
Trouble in the midst: Thunderstorm in Dallas, Armando can't hop his flight. Instead, he takes another flight to Philadelphia in a desperate attempt to get to the east coast any way possible...
12-1am in Philadelphia: Brent, Me and Brianna are racing down the Jersey Turnpike to get Armando and we're totally psyched...Get to the airport at 1am and we're racing down the terminals at 40mph, all too busy looking to our lefts and rights to see where Armando is to notice what's coming up.. a huge muthafukin trapezoid speed bump the size of a small country!! :wtf: AAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!! we all Flipped the hell out at first going over luxembourg and i finally slowed down.... and then..
Brent: :eyespop:
Brianna: :nervous:
Daniela: :disbelief
I started speeding up again for the next one, and I think the second time we flew over the next speed bump, we caught some air :crazy:
Armando then calls me in shock and asks me if that was in a small silver car that flew right by him... :tongue2 wahahaha Yep!!! meanwhile, poor Armando was lonely and decided to see if he could jump the curb of the sidewalk while sitting in a wheelchair.. Lmao!! :stongue:
The Long Road Home
Went to go drop off Brianna back in Long island, as she had a job interview the next morning at 9am… it was already 3am by the time we got her home safe and on the way back to Jersey (where I live) it starts torrentially raining…It was raining taxicabs ffs. I let Brent drive because I was dead tired and he did a damn good job :D
Day Two: Friday, June 13th aka TA Day @ 6 Flags
Well, short & sweet: TA Day never happened because of the rain and terrible weather. In fact, the weather was horrid everyday except the day Armando and Cube left L (figures, right?)
I wake up Armando and we grab our water guns to give Brent a rude awakening (hrhrhr.. wish I had a pic of that! But he was already awake when he got in..but that didn’t stop us from nailing him!)
Then Armando flips out when he goes into my bathroom….
Apparently, he wasn’t throwing up: he was amazed by the triangular shape of the water in the bottom of the bowl. (Don’t Ask! :p )
So when we got up, me and Armando hopped on my decks in our pajamas:

Then we finally decided to find nemo with rachel aka holycow24, who lives in manhattan. Off to the city we go:
After Finding Nemo, we couldn’t Find my Car. It got towed. FFS!!! :whip:
But, it was my fault (I think, I’m seeing if I could fight that fee still.)
We head out to Long island to meet up with Brianna aka Sunshine79 and ended up having a totally spontaneous PPR Gathering at her apartment!! Along with the five of us, Lisa aka KlingKlang met up with us also and we partied/talked/did stupid things all night. It was so awesome. Here’s the party in pictures:

Day Three: Saturday, June 14th ROAD TRIP!!!!!!!
We take off for our road trip to DC to see Armin @ Glow around 2pm or so. Not much to tell here, since Armin review was posted…. Such a fantastic time!!!!
At some point, when Glow cleared, I remember racing towards Armando, jumped on him and he caught me… :p :toothless I should be a stuntman of sorts, I love doing crazy stuff like this :haha:
Highlights were probably:
-Nothing But You [I crY!]
-From The Heart [Armin comes and dances with the crowd, me and Armando were sure we were gonna see clothes flying off him!] :haha:
In memory of this great thread, we have formed friendships across the country with different people that would have never happened if the PPR didn't last this long.
So thanx to everyone who made the PPR last this long and didn't delete it, we really all appreciate it. Something great did come out of it

Best damn weekend of my life...I miss you guys so much :(. Brent was a freaking character man, I never had a dull moment with any of you guys. Rachel was quite at first but she came out of her shell pretty damn fast :p ;) . All four of us driving down to D.C. was the best, NEVER SEEN SO MANY COPS on the way home :eyes: . But I def. wish I could've taken a nap at Rachel's house....SO WARM :stongue: . But thanks for everything you guys!! |

hehe yeah that was a GREAT weekend!! i have not had that much fun/been that happy in a LONG LONG TIME. :D :D :D :D :D :D
even though I was quiet at first, i didn't feel awkward or anything... that's just my way. i used to be soo shy. :nervous: :nervous: :nervous:
you guys are such a great group of people!! i'm so glad i joined TA. and that i decided to click on the PPR one day and find out what it was. speaking of which, i really should go catch up... i'm a few days behind! :eek:

yup,.. i agree with all the statements mentioned above,... us four yahoos being all goofy all weekend was so much fun,... and Daniela you posted a great storyline of how it all went down,...it was great to visit and meet all you guys and to see the ENTIRE city several times b/c i think we were in Daniela's lunalander more than we were any place else,.. that back right seat probably still has my butt print on it,... and i noticed that when the weekend was over that i was a part of 1/3 of Danielas entire milage on that car,... she put on about 800-900 miles on it with me/us in it,.... and yes AVB was incredible and i was so excited that we got to meet him, what a plus... meeting all the DCTA's was really nice too, i only wish there was more time that we all could have hung out...Armando, Rachel, Daniela, and me---> the TA road warriors :D
(i am not the molester, Bri likes that title,... although i did grab a boob or two :D)
