I was making this today stoned, and i'm thinking i like it, but maybe i'm just crazy.

has a "petter - these days" feel to it, cause i think i stole the basslines, but i dont know :D

opinions please

interesting. really mellowed out harmony/melody, thats cool. those stringy/pad things you have goin are pretty cool, i think...but i can hardly hear your percussion, and that synth stab you keep looping through a lot of it is a little loud, and gets annoying pretty fast. a lot of these synths could be tweaked. you should just experiment with more effects n stuff. 3:20 is also way too short if you want it to be a dance track. :)

yeah, it's pretty good.. like said before, get a good beat for it and make it longer (at least 6 minutes or so). It's got pretty much potencial, lovely melodies.

you should get stoned more often :stongue:

i got rid of that annoying pad, cause i didn't like it either.

i made it a little longer, 5:28 i think.. but its still generally the same. new drum set...and a new synth.

weird! lol but interesting, i think if you didnt repeat that background pad so much it wouldn't be too bad, that's my only gripe. it's that it gets extremly repeditive.

niceee. really relaxing. does it help to be high when you compose? i've never tried it. I think those dancy tribal sounding drums hsould b turned up a bit. The pads have kinda an aphex twin ring to them.

btw, wut do you use to produce?
DJMikeyP
NICE - very soothing.

Hell yes! This is VERY, VERY Aphex Twin like! I'm a big fan of Aphex, and I'll have to say, this track is good if your makin a CD of your own music - a good experimental 'reflective' track.

hey i like this little track. keep up the tweaking until you find something you like. many times i end up with strange downtempo stuff or aphex twin type jams when i set out to make something entirely different, but that part of the fun:gsmile:

i am interested in loading it up and doing a little re-interpretation, whaddya say is that cool with you?

ok good luck with you choons, i just posted one today if you got a sec give a listen and get back to me. cheers!
