sound distortion problems?!! HELP!

| Hey all, ive brought a second hand set of technics and i replaced the stlyus and needles on them cause i noticed that they were distorting a lil, and now i can hear slight distortions still on some reords, i think it could be my mixer cause its quite old, about 2 half years and its made by "stage line" sounds abit scanky to me :) anyone have any ideas to what it could be? please tell me its not my decks!!! | check your connections between the cartridges and tonearm...and all wires and their connections. make sure you have the decks grounded and that you are using the proper weight on the tonearm. if its not that then its probably your mixer.... try toget your hands on one that you know is working so you can test first |

| ill check the connections with the tone arm cause it is the first time i have had to change it, thanks |
