You have to open Cubase before you open reason or it won't work. You also need to remember to close reason before cubase. And if you are using rebirth in rewire, make certain that you close rebirth first or your computer is likely to freeze. I have also noticed that it can corrupt rebirth files if you do this. |

You have to press play still. All the controls in reason are controlled by cubase. So if you press play, move the time cursor, etc, it will do the same adjustment in reason. Obviously, you have to have some instruments and patterns open in reason in order for a sound to come out. |

Hey Cheggy, once i have finished using reason and SX in ReWire, when i close reason down, reason starts not to respond, forcing me to save and turn power of at the mains as my computer goes very very slow and wont close down normally. Dont suppose you can help there could you ? |

Make sure that you close reason before you close cubase. You may find that reason will freeze and not close. Close reason, then click on the Cubase tab at the bottom on the screen in the windows toolbar to go back to cubase. Then click on the reason one and you should find that reason will close down. |

I found another way which works, close reason then cubase, if your computer is running really slow then press ctrl alt & delete then end task on cubase as it takes something like 99 CPU up, which explains why my computer was running amazingly slow.
Thanks anyways. |

Yeah, but i like to keep using cubase after i'm done. I don't know why it does it though. It's not a major issue but it's even worse with rebirth. |
