| Yep okay here's an idea that might not be literally the most helpful towards advancing the site but it would give users another entertaining option to pass the seemingly infinite time they have to sit in front of a computer all day. What if you could type in your username and just suddenly search for all the threads in which you've been quoted? then you could either laugh at someone for mis-reading you, feel proud at having made a difference in the world via your little online thread or start a passionate pm discussion with someone who you have found to disagree with your views. this seems like a pretty straightforward change that could be programmed into the search function... I think it would be cool... |

| the search function already cains TA's bandwidth something rotten, and has lead to most of the speed related problems, its just too resource hugging to have a novelty function like this. |

Just search for this string:
originally AND posted AND [username]
Show results as posts and there you go!
OK, not all of them are your quotes, but you can easilly pick them out |
