Hello

I have installed programs like
Absynth

Fm 7
and I downloaded these VST pluguings:
ConcreteFX.Industry.VST.v1.1-ArCTiC
Rob Papen and LinPlug Albino VSTi v1.0
Massiva.energyXT.VSTi.v1.11-TALiO.tar
and I installed it to this directory
C:\Program Files\Steinberg
and how I can use them now???? |

You have to install them in your vstplugins folder. That folder is in the directory you installed them in now.
You can copy the .dll files that the installations created from C:\Program Files\Steinberg to C:\Program Files\Steinberg\vstplugins |

Sorry, I misunderstood your question. You can use them with Cubase.
I don't use Cubase so someone else has to explain how it works. |

| Are u sure you don't have Cubase installed? I can see you have a directory on your computer that indicates that it is installed. (C:\Program Files\Steinberg\VstPlugins. Steinberg is the name of the company that makes Cubase.) |

you can use them in any program that supports vsti plugins. so when you go to download it, check out the features and see if it supports vst.
fruity loops does |

This isn't a flame about cubase, but if this is the 1st time you've ever used music programs and vsts, you might find it easier to use fruityloops for learning purposes.
Just something to try if you are finding cubase overwhelming like i did :D |

| hey cheggy |
| You can use pro-53, absynth and fm-7 by themselves. They don't need a host program to run. But yes, you will need to install a VST host sequencer like Cubase to run them effectively. One you install cubase, you just open up a midi channel, select the input as your midi in for your keyboard. Then go to panels ==> VST intruments ==> FM-7. then set the output for that midi channel to FM7. Start hitting keys and you're away |

| If you're using Cubase, what no-one has mentioned yet is you have to load the VSTi first. In Cubase SX, hit F11 (or select VST Instrument from the Devices menu) and select the VSTi you want in an empty slot. Sorry, can't remember how to use VSTi in older versions of Cubase... |
