What sort of music do these fellers G&D play? Is it "techno" or is it "progressive" or is it just plain-old "honky-tonk"? Will they spin the "Rubber duckie song?" How about some Scooter? No?
What about "Cotton eye Joe"?
Seriously though, I heard someone say they are not your "Armin" or Ferry, I heard several tracks and remixes they made but what is their style? Just curious.
Thnx.:D |

Dave spins a mix of progressive-trance and driving prog-house, but he spins all CDs on CDJ1000s, so he uses a lot of effects and sampling, and plays around with the songs a lot :)
Josh spins a more housey set and drops some oldskool tracks sometimes, lots of west-coast house flavor in it. |

Seriously,
I want to go, since I see sooo much "hype" :) but I haven't heard G&D before "live". I like the "Beautiful Things" and ASTRC - are they considered "housey"???? I just kinda don't get it. I don't want to drive for 3 hours for Prog/House - that's not my bag, no offense to anyone. I guess I am your typical Dutch Trance/German Trance fan - not much of a Prog luver.... :)
What should I expect? Just to give you an idea - I could not listen to Digweed's sets... None of them.
So??? :nervous: |

will do...loser
don't worry, they play plenty of songs with vocals, so you commercial cheese heads can stay entertained...and they throw in a bunch of trance too...
they play a lot of their own productions/remixes, so if you like Motorcycle, Andain, Attention Deficit, Gabriel & Dresden stuff, you should be pleased :) |

well dont expect an Armin or Ferry set, nor a Digweed set. beema pretty much summed up their style of music so either get off your ass and come join the show or sit at home and suck on your binky.:tongue2 :haha: :tongue3 |
