ftp,how it works ?

i have been searching for a way to make myself an ftp site because i have to much songs / albulm / live sets on my computer, i have bee reading on this forum that some people have ftp from 7 or even 1 and even 30 gig. how to they do it, i realy woud appriciate any help coz i want my own ftp site so bad !!!

file transport protocol or something like that; but i don(t know how to make one, or to secure it or things like that;
i just woud need some site where i can find information on how to start your own ftp;
now i a using WS_Ftp to download from site. |

you need to download a program like Serv-U, you can find it on download.com and the crack at astalavista.box.sk...
if you follow the steps you won't have any problem to make a ftp server on your hard drive |

| when having an ftp site, does your computer always has to be commected to the internet or not. does this ftp just make files on your hard drive available? |
