Lego = best toy ever
The newer sets are nowhere near as good, the pieces are too specialized now and can only be used in one application. The older sets like basic and old school space sets ruled.

I always tried to attempt those MASSIVE castles you saw on the back of the main boxes and never succeeded. They had like secret instructions, that no one ever knew, after building one from the instructions, it never looked as good as it did on the box.

Nowadays lego is just a commercial bandwagon for companies to exploit, another avenue to push, harry potter or whatever it may be.

The old lego was in the hayday time of toys.

yeah, i have rather unfond memories and scars to match of early morning escapades with lego on the floor.

It was kinda esxpensive, and while i agree that iot has sold out the new model of the ATAT f*cking rocks
